- Must have GMC Registration with license to practice.
- Must have DBS which should be on updated service.
- Must have two references for the last two years of employment.
- GMC registration and inclusion on the Specialist Register for the relevant specialty
- Extensive clinical experience and expertise in the specialty area.

- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and professional development.
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC

**Responsibilities**:
**Clinical Care**:

- Provide high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to patients within the consultant's specialty area.
- Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and surgical or procedural interventions as required.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient management plans. **Clinical Leadership**:

- Provide leadership and guidance to junior medical staff, including training, supervision, and mentoring.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols, guidelines, and pathways.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- **Education and Training**:

- Engage in teaching and training activities for junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programs and training sessions within the Trust.
- **Research and Audit**:

- Participate in research activities, including clinical trials, audits, and quality improvement projects.
- Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through presentations, publications, and conferences.
- **Service Development**:

- Contribute to service development initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, safety, and experience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify areas for service improvement and innovation.
- **Governance and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in clinical governance activities, including incident reporting, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
- **On-call and Rota Commitments**:

- Participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for emergencies and urgent clinical issues within the specialty.
- **Professional Development**:

- Maintain professional registration and comply with continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.
- Stay abreast of developments in the specialty area through attendance at conferences, courses, and professional networks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £100.00-£125.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
