Job Description:
D & J Campbell LTD are a family run general haulage company, located in North Connel, Oban in the West Highlands of Scotland.

With three generations of knowledge and experience, our fleet has been able to grow and thrive.

We are constantly investing in our fleet to ensure the highest standard of service is provided to our loyal and dedicated customers.

You will be based in a busy workshop environment, where you will be required to undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs, major overhauls as well as completing standard servicing and diagnostics.

**Duties include**:

- Conduct safety inspections to VOSA standard.
- Conduct all maintenance tasks.
- Service and repair vehicles and trailers.
- Prepare for annual MOT.
- You must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion.
- Attend breakdowns as required.

**Experience**:

- Qualified HGV mechanic (NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
- Experience working in a busy commercial vehicle workshop.
- Comprehensive completion of all documentation including worksheets.
- Understanding the requirements of DVSA testing and inspection requirements.
- Full UK driving licence (HGV desirable, but not essential)
- ADR trained (Desirable, but not essential)

**Hours/Pay**:

- 5days over 7, Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis
- On
- call, rota to cover out of hours.
- Competitive dependent on knowledge and experience

**Salary**: £38,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
