The role...

The Consumer Sales Lead role is a new position within our Consumer Sales team which will be pivotal in executing the Consumer Sales strategy (as directed by the Head of Consumer Sales) and driving the performance of Consumer sales both directly as well as through enabling our Field Sales channel. This role will provide guidance to the Sales Account Managers in the team in order to drive performance as a Consumer Sales function, and will work collaboratively with the Consumer Tribe to ensure collective goals are achieved.
_This role will be hired permanently in the team but will initially be responsible for covering additional duties as agreed with the Head of Consumer Sales whilst they are away on maternity leave._

What you will do..Execute the Consumer Sales strategy for driving sales growth both directly and by using Dojo’s existing sales engines- Directly sell one of Dojo’s core products: the Restaurant Management System (“RMS”) to new and existing customers- Provide guidance and mentorship to the Sales Account Managers in the function, to drive performance as a Consumer Sales team- Work collaboratively with the wider Consumer Tribe to achieve collective goals, providing Consumer Sales updates and insights to this forum to enable alignment between the product roadmap and customer feedback- Work closely with Dojo’s 500-strong Field Sales team, facilitating sales indirectly through adopting a hands-on approach to educating on the product and/or sales process, feeding trends and insights back to the Consumer tribe- Offer customers advice and technical support to facilitate successful adoption of the product whenever the opportunity arises.- Liaise with our Head of Product, Design, Data, Product Marketing Manager and VP to update them of progress against Sales strategy to inform conversations around the Dojo’s development of the Consumer product and strategic vision- Partner with our Sales Support and Integration Support teams to make sure customer queries are handled in the right way to ensure Customer satisfaction with both Dojo and the Consumer product, providing educational materials and/or training sessions where a need is identified- Work with our BI Analyst to understand and prioritise projects to help Bookings scale as well as projecting sales forecasts.- Inform conversations with our international sales teams to enable the international launch of Dojo bookings- Lead on current projects such as partnering with Finance to resolve the current pain points around the billing of our Bookings product, with customer experience at the core of everything you do

What you will bring..- Previous sales leadership experience, being able to demonstrate effective stakeholder management to leverage business relationships- You should have a keen eye for data, with some experience with producing sales forecasts- You should have a proven track record of sales experience through adopting a hands on approach to sales and broader team mentorship, showing how you have sold products in the past through enabling others.- Experience at a bookings platform and/or a scale up would be highly beneficial but not essential.- You should be proactive, self-motivated and possess a willingness to learn more.- You should be comfortable with ambiguity and have a desire to succeed in an fast paced, entrepreneurial environment (which relies more on independant thinking than process).- You must be adaptable and open-minded with an ability to flex your sales approach depending on each unique situation. The ability to listen and empathise with each customer is essential.- You must be able to attend our London office 3-4 days per week.
