Training Administrator

We are looking for a Training Assistant to join our team at our Head Office in Borehamwood, to assist with the co-ordination of training activities across the Company to ensure that statutory and core training is delivered to support the business and contract compliance and accurate records are maintained.

**Responsibilities**
- Support the Training Department to ensure all employee records are kept up to date and training needs met
- Source and organise internal and external training programmes to meet specific training needs to address competency gaps across the company
- Ensure a full and comprehensive onboarding service is provided to all workers that includes appropriate induction for the various job disciplines, background checks, competency assessment and gap analysis takes place
- Update and maintain accurate employee training records in accordance with the training matrices using the relevant HR Training database in place
- Keep up to date with changes in competency requirements from clients, industry or as a result of legislation impact
- Maintain minimum competencies for all positions
- Stay informed of relevant skill and qualification levels required by employees for effective performance, circulate requirements and relevant information to Company Directors / Managers as appropriate
- Identify / assess training requirements for employees in consultation with Directors / Managers
- Produce relevant reports for line managers providing accurate information regarding competency expiries and refresher training where required/needed
- Provide support in the preparation of training materials, PowerPoint presentations and printing of resource materials
- Maintain relationships with external suppliers
- Organise training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery
- Report on attendance and non-attendance at scheduled courses
- Carry out any other duties appropriate for this post

**Qualifications / Skills**
- Previous training administration experience required
- Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, able to work to deadlines
- Self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative; enthusiastic with ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in PC operating systems (Word / Excel / Outlook)
