We are representing a global company in the power generation sector.

**Role Description**

This is a hybrid role for a Sustainability Consultant.

Remuneration of up to £500 per day DOE.

The hybrid role will require visits to two sites in the North East of the UK. The Sustainability Consultant will be responsible for providing strategic advice and practical solutions to clients to meet their sustainability needs. The consultant will develop and implement sustainability strategies, conduct research, analyze data, and communicate findings to clients. The work requires a high degree of collaboration and coordination with other enviromental team members and the construction team.

**Qualifications**
- A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a sustainability-related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a sustainability consultant or in a related field, with a successful track record in sustainability strategy development and implementation
- Advanced knowledge of sustainability frameworks, standards, and regulations, and experience working with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, CDP, and SASB
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience analyzing complex sustainability data and information
- Strong project management skills and experience managing and coordinating complex sustainability projects from start to finish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting and communicating sustainability strategies and findings to clients and executives
- A passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact in the world

An understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion in sustainability practices is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 60 months

**Salary**: Up to £500.00 per day
