Blue Arrow Bristol are recruiting for various manufacturing roles to work for our client based in Clevedon BS21. The client fabricates and supplies various packaging solutions made of mostly wood and steel. The roles are temp to perm - after being employed by Blue Arrow for the first 12 weeks, you will be offered a permanent contract directly with the client. This is an excellent opportunity that offers plenty of training and career progression.

We are looking for Fabricators, Machine Operators, Sheet Plant Operatives & Assemblers who ideally would come from a backgroud of working with wood or steel.

Pay rates:

- £12.54 basic pay rate
- Overtime Monday to Friday is paid at £15.67 per hour
- Overtime on the weekends is paid at £20.90 per hour

As an Assembler, your duties will include:

- Assembling wooden pieces
- Folding cardboard
- Using hand and power tools
- Gluing and stitching wooden parts
- Packing items and preparing them for shipping
- Other duties as and when required

As a Machine Operator, your duties will include:

- Setting the machines
- Feeding machines with materials
- Loading and unloading items
- Packing
- Fault finding and reporting
- Other duties as and when required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing role is necessary
- Previous experience working with wood or operating machinery is preferred
- Good understanding of warehousing and manufacturing processes and regulations
- Positive can-do attitude
- Good record of timekeeping and attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work as a part of team
- Good numeracy skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work on rotating shifts
