Production Operative

**Job Title**: Production Operative
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable production operative to join and support our busy operations. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team. You will ensure that our production requirements are met promptly, while observing the highest safety and quality standards.

**Job Role**: You will contribute to the seamless flow of our product lifecycle. In this fixed-term role, you’ll be instrumental in various stages of our operations, from production to final dispatch.
**Hours**:Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Fridays, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
**Pay**:£12.00 per hour
**Contract**: Fixed Term, 29 November 24
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the machinery set-up including programming the production cycle, controlling and adjusting settings, and feeding raw materials to machinery.
- Carry out routine checks on the machinery to ensure it operates at capacity.
- Troubleshoot issues or malfunctions that may occur during the working day and escalate where required to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor.
- Work consistently, accurately, and flexibly on the production line to move between different production departments.
- Attend morning huddle meetings with the Production Manager and Team leader.
- Remove and pack off finished products.
- Ensure clean-down of machinery is carried out by following the established rules and procedures.
- Observe and practice all safety guidelines in the operation of equipment and all other work practices.

- Experience within a Production / Manufacturing environment.
- Mechanically sympathetic.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team player.

Pay: £12.00 per hour
