Ruskin Mill College provides innovative and experiential education and training for young people marginalised by disadvantage, exclusion or special learning needs. Inspired by Rudolf Steiner, William Morris and John Ruskin, the college actively promotes, through craftsmanship and entrepreneurship, the traditional economic activities of the Cotswolds.
An exciting opportunity has become available to join Ruskin Mill College, in Nailsworth, near Stroud, Gloucestershire. Founded over thirty years ago in the beautiful Horsley Valley, Ruskin Mill College has since grown to encompass two historical woollen mills, acres of hillside woodlands, Gables Farm, where students grow and sell biodynamic produce, and the world’s only biodynamic fish farm.
The students benefit from an extensive range of nutritional, therapeutic and medical support at each college that is reflected in the college sessions.
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Maintenance Worker to work as part of a team under the leadership of the Head of Maintenance and Aesthetics/Maintenance Manager assisting with the upkeep, repairs and develop projects in the local Trust sites.
**Main Duties**:
- You will be required to lead on projects and carry out skilled jobs in your area of expertise such as carpentry/joinery, electrician, plumber
- You will be requires to carry out all aspects of maintenance in the Trust sites, including residential provision and gardens, with the exception of gas and electrical works (unless qualified)
- To ensure that the materials used and work carried out supports the aesthetics of the Trust and the site
- The post holder will be required to join team projects as required and carry out outdoor building projects, including landscaping and fencing, both on the College site and the Residential provision

Pay: £27,524.00-£28,718.00 per year

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Nailsworth, Gloucestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
