Surfacing Operative

To report to the Foreman on site.

Your duties will predominantly be driving and preparing the site pick-up for each on going job and working as part of a team to carry out works to a high standard and within Health & Safety guidelines. You will be expected to carry out a varied number of duties within the road surfacing industry (including groundworks) such as raking/shovelling and operating various road construction equipment including different sized rollers or bobcats etc... (if tickets acquired).

At least 3 years experience is required along with a clean driving licence. Must have a valid CSCS card. If you have any CPCS or NPORS qualifications for plant this would be advantageous along with a HGV class 2 licence but not essential. Training can be arranged. You will on occasion be requested to work away or be available for night shift and weekend works for any contractual works.

**Salary**: £11.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
