**Role - **Prototype Control Panel Wire-person

**Salary - **£22,000 -£32,000 (DOE)

**Location**:

- Cambridge

**Work Days - **Working hours will be Mon
- Fri 8hrs/ day (flexible). May involve occasional sat work.

A unique opportunity has arisen for a prototype panel wire-person to join the team at a successful business, specialising in the manufacturing of bespoke high temperature furnaces.

My client has been a market leader in the high-tech semiconductor industry for the past 40 years. Relied upon by its clients in the Telecoms, Solar and Space Industries, the business is well respected and relied upon by its many international clients.

They now seek a talented Panel Wirer to complement the team, working on both prototype development projects and the maintenance of existing furnaces.

**General overview of responsibilities**
- Control Panel Wiring
- Cabinet and Frame Wiring
- Instrument & Sensor Wiring
- Panel Layout Design & Wire Selection
- Wire/Cable Termination
- General Assembly Work
- 3 Phase pumps motor power supplies

**Desirable, though not essential skills would include**:

- PLC Program Loading
- 17th Edition
- Be able to interpret wiring schematics & layout diagrams
- Be able to work with mínimal supervision and to specific deadlines
- Be neat and methodical in their work

**Must**:
1. Live no more than 20 miles from Cambridge

2. Have experience of instrument and panel wiring.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
