Cars Caretaker

The Richmond Group builds, invests in, and lends to startups in the property and consumer and business finance markets, both in the UK and internationally. We are looking for a part-time employee to look after our cars and ensure that they are in good-working order and provide a valuable benefit to our key staff.

**What we think you'll need**:

- Interest in and knowledge of cars especially electric cars.
- Experience using your organisational skills to keep on top of tasks.
- Ability to get your hands dirty.
- Good communication skills - you will need to ensure you are always getting the job done at a good price.

**What we'll ask you do to**:

- Take ownership of ensuring our cars are in good working order, safe and well maintained.
- Book servicing, MOTs and organise any work needed, and deliver/pick up if necessary.
- Make sure chargers are working and cables are present.
- Keep charging spaces clear of other cars.
- Valet the cars yourself including the outside and inside to ensure they are well maintained.
- Ensure cars are returned on time, in good condition and plugged in by users so they are ready for the next person.
- Ensure any parking fines, speeding tickets etc are dealt with and paid for by the users.
- Make sure cars are kept adequately insured at all times.
- Demonstrate cars to new employees, if necessary.

Whilst we’ve said we think this role is 16 hours over the course of the week, we are flexible on the exact schedule and you may be able to achieve the results we need in less hours.

This role is based in our Bournemouth office on Richmond Hill.
