**What does a day at Little Learners Land look like?**

For our Room Leader position, your key responsibilities will be to lead the team to play with, educate and nurture the children and always keep them safe. As we are purpose built, there is no packing away or setting up as we are fortunate enough that the nursery is ready every single day of the year. We ask that all of our team members have plenty of energy to make infinite cups of pretend tea and have a keen interest in jumping in muddy puddles

Your main duties will include:

- Leading a team of practitioners and being part of the leadership team
- Using your specific training/knowledge of working with babies and young children to support their individual needs.
- Focusing on all areas of learning under the EYFS.
- Be a committed and can-do problem solver.
- To work in partnership with parents and carers.
- Assist in ensuring the nursery provides a safe, happy and stimulating environment for individual children and enables them to meet their full potential.
- Maintain accurate and effective children’s records, using formative and summative assessments.
- Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery.

**Minimum requirement - full and relevant level 3 in childcare.**

Pay: Up to £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
