**Branch Operations Manager| Burntwood, Staffs | Full Time | £35,000 basic with OTE of £40,000(OTE bonus will be driven by personal targets and overall branch performance).**

This is a key role within the organisation and will be responsible for managing the whole Burntwood branch. This role has become available following the retirement of a long serving member of staff.They are a company who value their employees and the contributionthey make to the overall success of the business.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management
- Proven successful record in working in a fast-paced logistics function
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and recall)
- Possess a natural problem-solving ability
- Intermediate to Advanced level in Microsoft packages, in particular, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Time management
- Flexible, team player, trustworthy, reliable

**Your key responsibilities will be**
- Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Monitor and analyse performance data to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions
- Schedule and coordinate the work of personnel to ensure that all tasks are completed on time
- Supervise and provide guidance to employees to ensure that all safety proceduresare being followed
- Communicate regularly with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that the operations are aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the organisation
- Manage inventory and ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are on hand to support theoperations
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and ensure that all customer needs are being met
- Daily plan for the day with workshop supervisor to get update for the work planning for the day
- Daily meeting with Sales manager to get update on current quotes and general sales forecast in comparison to workload in production
- Take care of all HR issues at Burntwood
- Oversee sales and stores managers with continuous contact
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and communicate with managers
- Take ownership of building facilities (inc. phone system, servicing, servers, internet etc)
- Management of payroll
- Overview of H&S and safe working practices
- Management of procedures throughout sales and stores
- Recruitment and training of new staff
