The Trust are seeking qualified trades persons to join the Estates Maintenance Team working at our Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber sites. You will be part of a great team who are responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive maintenance and installation service across the Trust’s estate.

The post attracts a band 4 salary plus overtime.

Applicants must have undertaken an apprenticeship in a carpentry and joinery or building related discipline with strong joinery emphasis. You will be carrying out maintenance and installation work across our Trust properties and work with a variety of our specialist contractors and engineers on a variety of systems. Our aim is to provide our patients and staff with compliant, safe, and pleasant environments to work in. You will enjoy working with all our clinical staff, nurses, doctors, and corporate staff to support them in their work.

To carry out repairs, maintenance, and monitoring of new works ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and procedures, specialising in joinery. This will consist of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), corrective and breakdown maintenance tasks and minor works.

The postholder will be employed to work appropriate to their core skills, including, standard door work, fire door inspection and repair, building fabric, glazing and windows, and locks. They will progressively be trained, where needed, to acquire other skills and work with other trades and specialist contractors when required.
