Toolmaker

Following continued growth and investment, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Toolmaker to join a forward-thinking Family run business who offer plastic injection moulding, toolmaking and rapid prototyping services.

**As a Toolmaker, your duties will include -**
- Preventative maintenance and day to day servicing and repairs of injection mould tooling
- Day to day toolmaking activities, maintaining tooling availability with minimum disruption to production
- Preparation of injection moulds for production according to specification
- Maintaining all necessary records - Tool Trials, Job Sheets etc.
- Involvement in the Production System Program. (Continuous Improvement, Shop Floor Management)

**We are keen to hear from any Toolmaker applicants who are -**
- Time served toolmakers (HND/C&G qualification or Apprenticeship) with a strong technical knowledge of injection mould tools
- Highly skilled in milling, turning, grinding, spark erosion, welding and benchwork.
- Experienced in root cause analysis focusing on process and tooling
- Experienced with hot runner systems and mould assemblies

**On offer -**
- A salary of 32 - 37K depending on experience
- 40 hours per week: Monday - Friday, flexible, but the majority do 8am - 5pm

Based in Leicestershire, this role is commutable from Nottingham, Market Harborough, Market Bosworth, Leicester, Melton Mowbray and all surrounding areas.
