**Aerodrome Trainer (Part Time)**
Are you our next Aerodrome Trainer? We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for are training team.
**This role would be one week on, one week off (Monday - Friday 8.30am-4.30pm).**

One of Stable Ops key aims is '**Operating a stable and safe airport**', they achieve this by living their mission is to '**PREVENT. PREPARE, RESPOND and RECOVER**' enabling the passenger journey through the airport to be safe and efficient and that the planes take off on time.
**What is the role?**
Supporting the development and the delivery of the Airfield training packages in line with the Airfield Training Manual. This will include aligning all existing packages to comply with necessary regulations whilst continuously looking for ways to improve the standards, in line with Gatwick's training plan.
**What will you do?**
- Proactively reviewing and updating training material to ensure any legislative changes are included taking personal accountability for the necessary research, to ensure validity of programmes.
- Delivery of Airfield Operations training modules including Airfield Vehicle and Winter Ops to relevant GAL employees and stakeholders, recording completion and assessment outcomes to reduce noncompliance.
- Conducting workplace inspections to ensure standards are achieved for classroom and on job training, communicating concerns to relevant managers - to reduce noncompliance.
- Completing “wash ups” for each training course and putting action plans in place to capture the learning conducting the necessary QA for all training content.
- Developing relations with stakeholders to understand TNA, designing programmes that deliver compliance and business need whilst continuously improving quality and introducing improvements as required.
**Do you have what we're looking for?**
- Knowledge and experience in delivering vehicle training and assessment with the ability to gain DVLA licence class C and be familiar with the equipment used at Gatwick Airport.
- Strong working knowledge of Aerodrome Operations and the airside environment
- A good standard of written and oral communication
- Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, and Word and competence with Microsoft Excel would be an advantage with the ability to build training presentations including trainer's notes, and lesson plans.
- Facilitation and presentation skills are essential in this role, with the ability to deliver training courses when required to both small and large groups.
- Highly effective organisational skills: (e.g., able to manage own workload to deliver against deadlines and targets)
- Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels.
