**IT General Controls Analyst**

**Location: Spalding** Hybrid (flexibility to work from home 4 days a week)

**Contract Type: Permanent**

**Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm**

**Salary: Up to £45,000 plus up to a 10% bonus, pension, life assurance, healthcare**

**Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays**

**What we do.**

Part of Group IT function with over 70 colleagues in the team. Working on International IT activities across all areas of the business. This is an exciting time to join the business with a huge 4 year transformation project touching all parts of IT. In this role you will be part of a small specialist team focusing on assurance, risk and continuity.

**About this role.**
- Provides advice and guidance on ways of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of control mechanisms.
- Engages with stakeholders to issue and review plans, reports, progress statements and approvals.
- Contributes to risk assessments and participates in risk reviews. Identifies, documents and communicates the root cause of issues found.
- For projects, development or support activities: plans, organises and conducts audits and determines whether appropriate quality control has been applied.
- Collates, collects and examines records. Analyses the evidence to ensure compliance with organisational standards for activities, processes, data, products or services. Investigates and documents the internal control of specified aspects of automated, partly automated, or manual processes. Assesses compliance with relevant standards and drafts all or part of formal compliance reports.
- Performs quality assurance reviews of suppliers throughout the supply chain.
- Reviews and analyses audit reports to identify common areas of non-compliance. Identifies opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organisational control mechanisms.
- Takes responsibility for the planning and resourcing of audits and/or conformance reviews of existing and planned processes, products, systems and services in simple to medium complexity domain areas.
- Participates in, or facilitates, stakeholder workshops to review requirements for planned audits, agree priorities, timescales, information disclosure approach and audit frequency. Documents agreements made.
- As part of an audit team, or as the lead, coordinates all stakeholders and conducts audits of simple to medium complexity domain areas within planned timescales.
- Collates and analyses evidence regarding the interpretation and implementation of control measures, and/or conformance to standards, and prepares and communicates the audit report.

**About you.**

You will ideally have experience in a risk or controls related discipline, an understanding of manufacturing operations and IT environments, good interpersonal skills, plus a logical, calm approach to unfamiliar situations.
