To develop, plan, co-ordinate, implement and evaluate a new Neuro Oncology Physiotherapy Service provided to patients with primary brain and CNS tumours.
- To provide Community & Outpatient based Physiotherapy to Neuro Oncology patients in the Plymouth locality
- to support education, innovation and quality improvement to enhance working practice and standards of evidence-based care, specific to neurosurgery patients throughout the Plymouth localit

**Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.**

Undertake a lead role, with support from the Consultant therapist on Neurosurgery and Neuro Oncology Specialist team to plan, deliver and evaluate a new Therapy service for patients with a CNS tumour in the Plymouth area.

To supervise/performance manage any support staff who undertake a role within the service.

To take the lead role in the advanced assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality who may have acute complex and/or acute on chronic presentations and to maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.

Undertake evidence-based audit to evaluate the service at the end of the fixed term period, with the intention be to carry the service forward under formal trust funding or alternative Oncology funding.

To support transformational change, quality improvement and value using effective and sustainable approaches, within and across organisations; to improve the quality and experience for patients receiving spinal care and interventions within the Plymouth area
