Childcare Assistant

Childcare Assistant required to join our fun and friendly team at our busy Before and After School Club. Hours will be 7.45am-9am and 3pm-5.15pm Mon-Thursday, Term time only. Some additional hours may also be required to cover holidays/sickness and relevant training/ meetings. Additional out of term hours are also negotiable.

Before and After School Club duties including setting up the room, overseeing the children to ensure their safety and well being, leading games and activities whilst interacting with the children in your care. Serving and clearing away breakfast and afternoon snacks, alongside activity planning and delivery.

**IN ORDER TO FULFIL THE ROLE, YOU WILL**:

- Provide the children with a safe, secure and nurturing environment
- Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team.
- Be willing to undertake training to improve your knowledge of Safeguarding, and welfare requirements.

The right applicant will need to be prepared to do some job related training and will also need to provide their own DBS or be able to show a current valid DBS on the update service.

Minimum 1year Childcare experience ideal
