**HGV & Plant Fitter**

We are working with a great client of ours, who are a leading provider of plant hire equipment, delivering and servicing equipment throughout the U.K. Due to continued expansion, we are actively seeking a HGV & Plant Fitter, to work with the team in Nottingham.

**Job Spec**:
Our customer has a large fleet of Mobile and Static Plant equipment, HGVs and Motor Vehicles across the UK that require maintenance and repairs. We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual to service, maintain and repair all equipment on site.

Reporting to the Operations/Service Manager, the main purpose of the role is to service and repair a wide range of plant equipment and vehicles in accordance with Company and Manufacturers Service Schedules.

**Your duties will include**:

- Maintaining and Servicing Mobile Concrete Pumps, Static Plant, HGVs and Motor Vehicles.
- Carry out scheduled service inspections and servicing and repairs in compliance with manufacturers specifications.
- Responsible for attending client sites to fix any malfunctioning plant and equipment including, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Perform spot-checks on Mobile Plant to ensure that all operators do the basic daily maintenance and report issues on their daily check.
- Following safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in our workshop and at customer sites.
- Maintaining knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements in relation to your role.
- Undertaking regular relevant maintenance procedures to ensure the plant serviced in line with protocols.
- Following up site based remedial work in the workshop to ensure the longevity of solutions.
- Ensuring issues that are solved remain operational with minimum interruption of service.
- Building relationships and working effectively with contractors and clients under time critical conditions.
- Any other tasks as required by the Operations Manager/Service Manager.

**Preferred experience**:

- HGV Fitter Experience - We can offer specific plant equipment training, so you can become an 'Allrounder’
- NVQ L2/L3 Plant Maintenance
- CSCS card
- HGV Licence class 2 preferred but not essential
- Welding experience
- Fabrication skills
- Hydraulics
- Electrical/truck lighting

**Salary and package**:
Salary upto £40,000 p.a.

Company van to be used for breakdown cover

Hours**:Monday to Friday 0800-1800 inclusive with a lunch break of one hour. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Pension**:Auto-enrolment

Annual leave: 20 days + bank holidays
