**Teaching Assistant - 28.5 hours per week, HLTA- 4 hours per week (in the first instance) TTO + 5 days.**

**This is a temporary contract until 31/08/2024 in the first instance, however there is a strong possibility that the post would become permanent.**

- An exciting opportunity has arisen in our school for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant/ HLTA to join our staffing team, offering care and resilience to support our pupils. We believe strongly in providing a breadth of opportunity for all our pupil's to ensure their success. Your Teaching Assistant role would be to support the school in delivering the curriculum involving assessing and recording pupil's learning and identifying their next steps in terms of development under the direction of teaching staff. The HLTA role is to cover for the class teacher initially two afternoons a week where you will work collaboratively with teaching staff to assist in the planning of the class.

- Is enthusiastic and hardworking

- Is an effective '_Team Player_'
- 5 GCSE's or equivalent, including maths and English
- Willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training for development in the post. Evidence of CPD.
- Experience of working in a school
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages, SIMs, databases and web technologies.
