**What to expect**

Based at our principal design and engineering centre in Gaydon (CV35 0RR), offering a flexible hybrid working model and opportunity to travel around the world, Jaguar Land Rover are looking for a Head Rest and Arm Rest Subject Matter Expert.

As a Head Rest and Arm Rest Subject Matter Expert, you will be creating the technology roadmap for future seat frame families. Focusing on creating lighter, sustainable, modular frames for future Jaguar Land Rover vehicles as well as accommodating the technology for the automated driving seating experience.

You will provide specific solutions and technical expertise for projects, and input into the planning and deployment of specific new technologies, systems, tools.

You conduct research into new technologies, systems and methods and tools using industry-specific tools. You will research concept ideas using complex modelling to work out whether new developments and innovations would work and be cost effective.

In this role you will also:

- Support other technical specialists and SMEs through knowledge sharing and mentoring approach.
- Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices, industry movements and future trends.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

- Experienced in creating future strategy for family of seat head rests and arm rests.
- Experienced in design
- Experienced in manufacturing
