Trainee Paraplanner for our very well-established Colchester based IFA company. As trainee paraplanner, you will receive full training from their dedicated team to become Paraplanner and ideally will already possess a CII level 4 diploma in regulated financialplanning. This is a demanding role, you will need to be self-motivated, have a keen desire to progress your career in financial services and study toward further industry qualifications, and must possess some experience in financial services.
This role of trainee paraplanner is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking career progression within the Financial Services Industry.

**The Role**
- Providing support to Financial Planning Managers in research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives.
- Researching investment funds
- Tax calculations.
- Processing new business, fact find, and attitude to risk results and general client administration as required.
- Undertake product and provider research.
- Database creation and management.
- Obtaining Illustrations and quotations from Platform providers and Insurance companies.
- Communicating with product providers on case progress.

**The Person**
- Essential to have some experience in financial services
- Ideally possess CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Desire to progress your career in financial services and study toward further industry qualifications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure
- Be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
