- ** Working days, nights and weekends on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern**:

- **Securitas will provide you with your smart Securitas Uniform and full site training**

**Your Responsibilities will include**:

- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
- Search of equipment and manual search techniques, in order to ensure that no prohibited articles are taken through the Port.
- Xray screening and bag searching
- Vehicle Search and Freight Search
- Controlling of access into the Terminals
- Resolve queries from customers and assist them with their journey through the Port
- Read and adhere to security notices, completing documentation clearly and concisely on any incidents that may have occurred.
- Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.
- Carry out patrols of the areas to ensure that these locations are secure.
- Attending to and investigating reports of incidents.

**Essential Skills**:

- Right to work in the UK with a five-year checkable history.
- SIA license.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Have an enthusiastic proactive attitude.
