Painter and Decorator

BRS has a Client who needs local Painters with CSCS cards to carry out external Painting works to a school in Redhill, Surrey.

As the main works are external you will need to have experience in working off scaffolding and be able to start work at 7.30 each day Monday-Friday.

40hrs per week only and UTR or PAYE umbrella payroll.

Painter Job Description

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint splatters
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and use proper protective gear while working

**Requirements**:

- CSCS Card Blue preferably
- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 2-4 weeks

**Salary**: £20.00-£21.00 per hour
