Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Production Planner will ensure robust plans are in place to assure manufacturing processes deliver the required throughput needed to meet not only RLC Callender’s Customer requirements, but also those of the business.

The role will be required to liaise with the customer in relation to delivery performance and requirements.

The Production Planner shall have key responsibilities within the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process at value stream level and contributes at Business Unit level.

Responsible for releasing and sequencing of production cards including batching where appropriate and expediting material through WIP and sub-con operations as well as tracking critical customer deliveries.

**Working within the Contract Review Process**:

- receive order, and order amendments and upload into Contract Review

**Working within the S&OP process**:

- Maintenance of inputs of capacity and S&OP models
- Review of Customer Demand Changes including assessing impacts and scenario planning.
- Conducting level 1 reviews and supporting VSM and CBUM in the level 2 and 3 reviews.
- Generating and maintaining a production plan that delivers Customer requirements in most effective manner for RLC
- Ensuring that the production plan complies with the value stream inventory policy.
- Customer liaison for delivery commitments
- Aligning Supplier Capacity Management with RLC production plans in the week
- Aligning Supplier Capacity Management with RLC production plans in the period
- Liaison with Facilities Management upon TPM requirements to ensure they are incorporated in production and capacity plans
- Maintenance of Min / Max order levels on TROPOS for all consumables

**_ Working within the delivery process:_**
- Supporting the Business Unit by Implementing capacity plans for the period + 1, and forward implementation of capacity plans Q1 - Q3, and Q3 onwards
- Contribute to problem solving in relation to Capacity provision in the week and period.
- Ensuring Supplier demand management is aligned to RLC production plans for the week and the period
- Contribute to ensuring Supplier demand management is aligned to RLC production plans for Q1 -Q3, and beyond Q3
- Providing the demand signal to RLC shared services for the week
- Providing the demand signal to RLC Material launch for the week
- The monitoring of WIP (launched WIP) to ensure it is in the correct position both internally and externally.
- Ensure effective materiel movement in support of production plan
- Liaison with shared facilities to ensure effective throughout in line with production plan
- OTIF Measurement
