**Position Overview**:
I'm looking for a self-employed Painter to collaborate closely with me on various construction projects. As an independent contractor, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with me, contributing your expertise to elevate the aesthetic appeal of our projects. **Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with me to execute painting plans efficiently and effectively.
- Perform surface preparation, painting, and other finishing tasks as required.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of painting into the overall project timeline.
- Engage in general laboring duties including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the job site.
- Assist in caring for and managing painting tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in painting or a related field is advantageous.
- Proficiency in various painting techniques and methods.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is preferred.
- Ownership of personal transportation and painting tools is a plus.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role, showcasing expertise in various painting techniques.
- Proficiency in surface preparation, painting, and finishing tasks.
- Strong knowledge of painting tools and equipment, with the ability to use them effectively and safely.
- Capability to follow instructions meticulously, ensuring precise execution of painting plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, capable of addressing any issues that arise during projects.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve prolonged standing, reaching, and lifting of materials.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
- Proactive attitude towards work, demonstrating initiative and adaptability to meet project requirements.

**Salary**: £15.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- painting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
