As Mechanical Assistant you will assist in the provision of a high quality, efficient, responsive, flexible & effective estates service to Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, working as part of the Estates Department Team.

Working as part of a multi-disciplined team within Estates reporting to the Estates Officer (Operational).

To manage your own allocated workload.

To work unsupervised in the course of maintenance duties, including responding to out of hour requests in conjunction with other staff involved in the Estates on-call service.

The Post holder is guided by departmental precedents and clearly defined occupational policies, protocol, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and codes of conduct. Work is supervised and results/outcomes are assessed at agreed intervals. More senior Estates Officers are normally available for reference.
