**Rostering Administrator**

**POSITION OBJECTIVES**:
The Rostering Administrator is responsible for providing a range of timely and accurate administrative functions and rostering services that are designed to support the operational planning of our resources.

The Rostering Administrator is the key point of contact for employees and managers and is responsible for ensuring the rosters are maintained and updated for the best possible outcomes, reflecting the operational requirements of the various airlines we work with.

This is a fast-paced role that is integral for ensuring that departmental rosters for all Heathrow employees are prepared in line with company requirements.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**:
**Rostering and Program Support**:

- Provide a high-quality service to Operational Managers in the preparation of rosters including the administration of alterations, cancellations and leave arrangements.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with employees and managers as required.

**Administration**:

- Ensure appropriate and accurate data entry and be able to report on all aspects of the rostering and planning service as required.
- Prepare and process employee rosters and time sheets.
- Provide best practice administrative support.

**TEAM SETTING**:

- Work in a team environment to maintain office and support systems.
- Liaise regularly with the Operational Managers to discuss employee issues, staffing resources and any issue that affects rostering.
- Communicate in a professional and respectful manner with fellow team members and other employees at all times.

**ACCOUNTABILITY AND EXTENT OF AUTHORITY**:

- The Rostering Administrator works with standard practices and procedures while adhering to overall supervision and direction from Operational Managers.
- The Rostering Administrator can act independently to fulfil specific rostering functions within set requirements and timeframes and will provide information and support to others.

**INTERPERSONAL SKILLS**:

- A team contributor with the ability to share workload responsibility, and work with others well, to build an effective team culture.
- Ability to gain co-operation and assistance from employees.
- Ability to discuss and resolve problems with other members of the team.

**QUALIFICATONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous experience in a rostering role an advantage.
- Excellent IT skills with a good knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strength in administrative and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail relating to rostering and reporting.
- Ability to demonstrate experience as team player working positively to enhance team operations.
- Ability to manage time and tasks effectively, working independently, in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide continuous and calm service under pressure and manage competing demands.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hounslow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
