Junior Draftsperson

**What will you be doing?**

As a junior draftsperson, you will take a design, which could arrive in a variety of forms, and manage the production of coherent construction, bench and CNC drawings in AutoCAD as well as other 2D and 3D software.

You will work closely with the entire team to ensure the best construction methods and materials are considered to bring the final product to life to the highest quality. Whilst also ensuring that the relevant supplies are ordered within project deadlines.

- Invested learning and interest in the role
- Production of detailed drawings to enable successful workshop fabrication
- Suggest suitable materials for specific jobs, through research and experience
- Efficient communication across all teams
- Occasional travel to attend client meetings and undertake site surveys

**Required skills**:

- Exceptional eye for detail
- Impeccable time management, experience of working to deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office 365
- Interest in construction methods and materials
- Team player who isn’t afraid of getting stuck in and collaborating with others

**Nice to haves**:

- Experience or interest in designing and drawing
- Experience or interest in 3D design
- Adobe suite knowledge

**Measures of Success**

Being a junior role, you will be supported with on-the-job training and guidance while you learn, some of the measures you can expect to work towards are:

- Notable improvements in drafting skills and build technique knowledge
- Communication efficiency
- Keeping up with deadlines, including the consideration of materials and contractors
- Internal process understanding and adherence

Standard working hours: 8.00am-5.00pm Monday-Friday

Location: Office based, Belvedere, DA17 6BS

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
