The key priority of this role is to support the Artwork Manager in their responsibilities to deliver the artworks for the global Nelsons business product portfolio. This includes being responsible for creating artwork across various pharmaceutical, food and health and beauty packaging, working across multiple markets in multiple languages, from artwork origination through to completion. The Packaging Artworker will help ensure that all artworks are completed to print ready specifications, ensuring executional excellence. Nelsons product portfolio uses the full range of printing processes on a diverse range of substrates.
- This is a 6-month fixed term contract._

**Key responsibilities**
- Create packaging artwork following brand guidelines and/or design requirements.
- Create artwork in line with print production constraints.
- Preparing accurate packaging artwork from approved designs and project briefs.
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years relevant experience in Pharma, Health & Beauty or FMCG advantageous
- Experience creating technical packaging artwork
- Core understanding of artwork, print and reprographics processes
- Strong Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience of print industry and process (ie flexo, offset, gravure)
- Proven experience of artwork creation and manipulation to a high standard
- Understanding of packaging technology and packaging materials
- Core understanding of technical administration
- Project management experience desired
- IT literate in MS Office packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to identify issues early and develop workable solutions
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Flexible approach to work and tasks
