Housekeeping Asst

Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to be part of the team in Forthland Lodge Care Home in Edinburgh. Conveniently located close the city centre of Edinburgh, Forthland Lodge offers residents safe, comfortable surroundings in a purpose-built nursing home.

**Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include**:

- Cleaning the bedrooms and bathrooms for the elderly residents of our 47-bed care home also communal areas
- Vacuum rooms and corridors
- Dispose of waste accordingly
- Change and replenish towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
- Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis completion of cleaning schedules

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Positive attitude
- A driven individual that can use their own initiative
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
- Flexible and reliable
- Experience working within Care Homes, Hospitality, Schools or Commercial (Desirable but not essential)

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour + overtime rates + benefits

Hours: 16 hours per week working 3 days (maternity cover)
