Senior Hydrogeologist

**Hydrogeologist - London**

My client, an international based established and dynamic consultancy involved with a wide range of water-related projects are looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join their Minerals and Mining Team delivering high quality, pragmatic, advice and solutionsto environmental problems primarily in the quarrying and mining sector.

Applicants are required to have BSc or MSc in Hydrogeology and have experience working for an Environmental Consultancy completing Hydrogeological Risk Assessments, Ground Water Monitoring and experience working on Geothermal or De-watering Projects.Experienceusing Modflow is also required for this role.

**You will be required to have**:
Detailed knowledge of groundwater issues,able to produce both quantitative and qualitative assessments, to a very high standard with minimum supervision.

Great communication skills are a must as you will need to be able to build strong working relationships with your colleagues, clients and regulators.

Experience with client liaison

Lead delivery of projects covering all aspects of water resources such as borehole design, pumping test analysis and groundwater flow modelling.

Excellent technical understanding of hydrogeology.

Complete Water Quality Assessments

Mentoring team members, providing support when needed.

Preparing bids and contract documents.

Ensure projects are delivered to time and budget and comply with company standards and environmental legislation's.

Manage projects.

Good understanding of the minerals and/or mining sector which could include impact assessment, flood risk assessment, abstraction licensing and discharge permitting, environmental data collection and management.

Full clean driving licence

This is a permanent role.
