**SMT Supervisor - Day Shift**

**SMT Supervisor urgently required for a leading manufacturing company based in Windsor.**

**Job Description / Person Specification**

Reporting to: Production Manager

Remuneration: £32k to £38k per annum

Normal working hours: 37hrs / week

Mon - Thu 07:30-16.00 (half hour lunch)

Fri - 07:30-12:30 (no lunch)
- Holiday 5 weeks + bank holidays + long service extra days
- Pension Scheme Auto Enrollment (5%+3% contributions)
- Parking Free parking on site

**Job Role**:
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person with a good sense of urgency and attention to detail to lead & train a new team of SMT operators.

You will be responsible for running and planning work through the department, improving both efficiency and quality by developing the team. You will be expected to coach your staff and monitor the quality of their work.

You will also be required to interface with our engineers, solving problems on current work and communicating progress & status to the late shift Supervisor and Production Manager.

Our lines are configured with DEK printers & Siemens placement machines; therefore, knowledge of this equipment would be a distinct advantage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proven track record in a Supervisory role
- The capability to teach / coach others
- The gravitas to command respect and be heard
- Provide online support running the line when required
- Continually monitor the process to ensure perfect quality
- Document aspects of the Work Order including run times, hand fits, and process deviations
- Read and interpret Drawings, Diagrams and Bills of Materials
- Maintain high housekeeping standards
