**Housing Management Worker**

An excellent Support Provider in **Bristol** are recruiting for **Housing Management Worker **to provide a high quality housing management service to an agreed number of service users

**Location**:Bristol

**Contract duration**:3 Months + (with the possibility of going permanent)

**Hours**:37 per week

**Rate**:£14.80 umbrella

**Day to day responsibilities include**:

- Provide a housing and property management service to the supported housing accommodation services, liaising with the relevant support workers and support seniors as required
- Ensure regular rent and service charge collection including housing benefit, in line with targets and maximization of organisational income
- Ensure that the properties and their contents are maintained to agreed standards and within budget including management of voids turnaround, repairs and renewals to meet targets
- Ensure regular health and safety checks are carried out and follow up actions identified and implemented
- Investigate tenant disputes, breaches of tenancy and anti-social behaviour issues - taking appropriate action according to policy
- Ensure that housing management is appropriate to tenants’ circumstances including tasks such as arranging and attending house meetings
- Be proactive in communicating and liaising with support staff and act as an advisor on housing management issues
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with housing associations and other partner agencies, to ensure that a quality housing management service is provided according to the needs of tenants
- Identify, assess and manage risk to ensure risk is minimised, including regular health and safety checks and fire/building risk assessments

**Essential criteria include**:

- Proven experience of working in housing management or supported housing
- Current enhanced DBS
- Driver with access to your own vehicle (Desirable)
