**Job Title**:Sales Assistant

**Location**:Street Track Life Limited, Congleton, Cheshire. In person.

Street Track Life was founded in 2010 originally as a blog covering motorsports and modified cars. Over the past 14 years It has grown into a global automotive parts business that specialises in supplying quality parts and accessories to its customers from industry leading brands and its own-brand in-house-developed products.

Our primary focus is aftermarket car parts for niche models and camping and outdoor lifestyle equipment.

Each week from our Congleton warehouse we ship hundreds of parcels to our customers around the world, and pride ourselves on offering them the very best customer service and support, which has always been key to our success. We are soon to add a fitting and by-appointment showroom service to our offering, which will create opportunities for us to interact more with our wonderful customers

**Shift Pattern/Working Hours**:
A total of 40 hours per week.

Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30 with a 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day.

Sometimes this will call for flexibility on the rare occasion.

**Main Job Role**:
You will directly support the company director in all sales. This includes speaking with customers and trade customers directly, working closely with our warehouse team to support communication and the smooth fulfilment of orders and generally providing customer service support.

You will keep your finger on the pulse of what is new in our product offering and that of our competitors, whilst understanding what is important to our global customers.

You will support visitors to our yet to be built showroom space and help them place orders. You will have plenty of time for training before this.

Training will be given on all points of the job and there is certainly room for progression, we hope to employ a person who will come along for the ride and enjoy the rewards of their efforts in our growing business.

**Key Tasks and Accountabilities**:

- Proactively finding answers to any queries or requests our customers might have.
- Greeting any visiting customers, taking payment for parts etc.
- Helping facilitate sales, keeping your finger on the pulse of what our customers feedback to us.
- Forming good relationships with our trade network, proactively keeping in touch
- Occasionally updating website listings for products.
- Supporting the warehouse team by feeding back any information that might help them in their success.
- Generally providing a high level of customer service, keeping customers up to date on their order ETA’s, helping trouble shoot any issues they might have. We thankfully supply very reputable products, and so have a great network of suppliers we can rely on.
- Working closely with the purchasing manager to understand the comings and goings of stock.
- Liaising with our EU warehouse.
- Administrating our fitting service calendar and speaking with the rest of the team to make sure that all requirements are communicated both internally, and to our customers.

**Aptitudes Required**
- **Customer care/relationship experience is a must.**:

- **Must have sales experience.**:

- **Must have good written communication skills.**:

- Great customer facing attitude.
- Some understanding of eCommerce.
- Decent understanding or interest of aftermarket car parts and/or camping and outdoor lifestyle activities.
- This is a fairly relaxed work environment so you must have good initiative, meaning you can plan your own day and work very efficiently on your own.
- Team working skills are essential.
- Time management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Able to work under pressure and deliver results to a defined deadline.
- Logical and analytical.
- Can-do attitude, self-motivated and accountable.
- Flexible.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail.
- Confident.

**Salary is illustrative and can be flexible depending on experience and skillset.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
