Labourer/groundworker

Prime Irrigation are looking for an Irrigation Labourer/ Groundworker to join our installation team, working on agricultural and sport turf sites. The successful applicant must be willing to work away from home during the week.

**Duties**:

- Outdoor work involving manual handling of irrigation materials
- Installing/ maintaining/ servicing of pumping plant pipes, valves & irrigation equipment
- Working with plant, machinery and hand tools
- Additional duties, as required

**Skills/ experience required**:

- Driver's license essential
- Good communication and teamwork
- Ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work outside year round in a physically demanding role

Previous experience with agricultural or turf irrigation systems repairs would be advantageous, but not required as full training will be provided. Other skills that would be an advantage include: operating heavy machinery such as diggers, rollers, tractors etc.

**Location**: Customer sites throughout the UK

**Starting rate**: from £11 per hour an hour, dependent on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
