Main duties of the job

The role will involve supporting the Radiation Monitoring team and administrative tasks required by the Radiation Physics team. The Radiation Monitoring team is a smaller group within Radiation Physics who manage the provision of personal and environmental dosimetry to Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and the wider region.

Skills required for this post are good time management, administrative skills, minute taking skills, team working, prioritise workload, work alone or as part of a team, use own initiative.

Radiation Physics provide specialised services to healthcare organisations; this is mainly through the provision of scientific and technical expertise, support and advice ensuring staff and patient safety and providing effective teaching and training. The main office work is based at QMC campus and you will be providing administration support to a large team of clinical scientists and technologists (in both ionising and non-ionising radiation modalities).

- Previous experience with NHS systems
- Previous experience in use of databases

- Excellent writing and data entry skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Previous experience of ordering and invoicing within NHS systems

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

The system will provide us with an outcome of your check which will be stored securely on your personal file along with all other pre-employment check documentation.
