Student Cover Supervisors

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting on an urgent basis for Student Cover Supervisors.

Empowering Learning pay well above market rates for Student Cover Supervisors, our rates work out at around £18-£20 an hour, often more for exceptional staff. Many of our staff earn above this rate having been so successful in the schools they have been to.

Empowering Learning take pride in placing you for work quickly and will support you through your journey working in our schools. I personally worked as a Head of Year and Teacher of English in a Manchester based secondary school so there will not be a situation that you encounter that i will not be able to support you with.

So what is in this for you?
- A consultant on hand to support you 24/7, if i am awake i am available My phone is not switched off at 5pm
- Progressive career - we can help you utilise your time in our schools to progress through the ranks in a school or support you with marketing the skillset you have acquired in our schools to utilise in an alternative career path

Flexible working pattern - Although we do look for a minimum two days commitment you are able to take time off to study, around exam periods etc and can amend your availability each week.

What do we need from you?
- An enthusiastic and positive approach
- Be able to provide two most recent professional references
- An ability to engage young people
- To either have completed a degree or currently be in the process of completing one

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rochdale, Greater Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- QTS (preferred)

Work Location: In person
