**About the role**

We’re searching for a **Handyperson **to join our friendly and hard-working team at A2Dominion.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Carry out tasks to ensure the upkeep and safety of communal areas including clearance, redecoration and safety checks, including emergency lighting checks as directed by the Scheme Manager/Scheme Support Officer.
- Working in compliance with the Group’s Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times, ensuring that the high quality standard of services are delivered, effectively and efficiently across the Group.
- Carry out tasks to ensure the upkeep and safety of communal grounds as required, e.g. clearance of paths, removal of graffiti, and removal of large dumped items.
- To acquire, use and maintain supplies and equipment in accordance with Group procedures.
- Report to the Scheme Manager any damage and major repairs needed and any issues or concerns identified by the post holder or reported to the post holder by residents.
- Assist residents and staff with removal of furniture or other items and discard as required.
- To complete relevant records and paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with Group policies and procedures.
- To maintain up to date knowledge and attend staff meetings, training, supervisions and appraisals as required.

**More about you**:
For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following:

- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Math & English
- Experience of working in a similar customer-facing role.
- An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations and procedures.
- Experience and understanding of carrying out general maintenance and repairs and the use of basic power tools.
