Aberdeen, United Kingdom Port of Aberdeen Full time

**Who We Are**

The Port of Aberdeen is Europe’s premier marine support centre for the oil and gas industry and the main commercial port serving the North-East Scotland. The Port was founded in 1136 and with a near-900-year history, is the oldest existing business in the UK.

It is a story that we are proud of, but it does not end there. We are transforming our business and embracing the future.

We offer a wide range of roles, all rooted in a culture that welcomes diversity, fosters talent, encourages internal movement and progression and places safety as our number one priority.

In support of our existing dynamic and successful operations, we are constructing Scotland’s newest and largest port, offering greater capacity and extensive ability to the East-coast of Scotland, European hubs and deep-sea ports. This nationally significant project will strengthen our customer offering and open access to new market sectors allowing larger and deeper drafted vessel classes to call with unrestricted access to the port.

In the last decade, we have invested £167 million into our North Harbour and most recently, £33m redesigning and constructing the new Torry Marine Base. These improvements have helped the Port of Aberdeen go from strength to strength and with our new £400 million port development underway we can handle double our existing vessel tonnage capacity.
