**The Job**

Apprentices will be working in all aspects of Pitch (Slater Tiler) Roofing. Some examples are:
Install plain tiles, interlocking tiles, natural slates and fibre-cement slates.

Install underlay, battens and related roofing components.

Install dry and wet fixed products to verges, hips, ridge and valleys.

Install insulation and ventilation products for warm and cold roof construction.

Although this is a Pitch (Slater Tiler) Roofing apprentice role, there may at times be some other aspects of construction involved in, which they shall be supervised and trained. When the apprentices are working, they will be supervised by a fully qualified member of staff and will be shown all the correct procedures including health and safety in the workplace. Along with ensuring that their work area is clean and safe, and that all the tools are cleaned and put away correctly at the end of each day.

**What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?**

You will be fully qualified Pitch (Slater Tiler) Roofer and become a self-employed Pitch (Slater Tiler) Roofer with the employer.

**Person Specification**

You will require your own transport for this apprenticeship.

**Working Week**

Apprentices will be expected to work a maximum of 45 hours a week, 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with exception for college.

Established in 2017 Greenlight Training Ltd is a subsidiary of Greenlight Group, that also incorporates Greenlight Safety Consultancy Ltd and Greenlight Safety Assessment Scheme Ltd. We have been operating for over 12 years with a longstanding and established name within the construction industry, with over 350 apprentices currently enrol.

**Salary**: £192.40-£200.00 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
