LNT Construction Limited, part of LNT Care Developments are looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager, your role will be to support the Purchase Ledger Team Leader & 4 Clerks in the daily transactional running of Purchase Ledger tasks to ensure the continuous running of LNT Sites.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist team members in solving problems by answering specific questions / seeking clarification from internal or external sources and providing assistance.
- Dealing with supplier issues and complex queries while escalating to Purchase Ledger Team Lead/manager where required.
- Perform the duties of an Accounts Payable Clerk for specific key suppliers (circa 75% of time)
- Support in the preparation of the weekly BACS payment runs and ad hoc daily faster payments to ensure suppliers are paid as directed by the Purchase Ledger Manager or Construction Finance Director.
- Support in training new team members in Company’s processes and controls.
- Support in the weekly query process.
- Day to day support of the Team leader.

**In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder may be asked to perform other duties assigned by the management from time to time.**

**Key Requirements**:

- Accounts Payable experience in a high volume, fast paced & well controlled environment.
- Experience of Manual processing of invoices
- Experience of 2-way and 3-way match
- Sage 200 experience, preferred but not essential
- Prior construction experience preferred
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Ability to communicate with different levels of organization both internally and externally.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Ability to organise/prioritise workloads to deal with fast paced environment.
