P6 Planner

My client is a specialist in the delivery of innovative technology solutions and services within the railway infrastructure.

An opportunity has arisen for a P6 Planner to join the existing team where you will be part of the project delivery team and work along side Senior P6 Planner.

The P6 Planner will play a critical role in planning and supporting the project team through design, delivery, testing and commissioning of the project.

Responsible for developing, analysing and updating the project programme, and supporting reports, throughout the lifetime of the project.

Working in a proactive and problem-solving manner to ensure that the project programme provides an efficient and contractually compliant plan of works. They will use strong communication skills to engage with the project team, specialist suppliers, client and third parties to ensure that all key programme drivers are identified and understood.

Supporting the administration of the NEC contract by demonstrating the time impact of compensation events. They will also develop robust delay mitigation strategies.

The Planner will be a major contributor in the preparation of project controls reporting. They will work closely with the commercial team to deliver earned value and cost forecasting reports. They will review data outputs and adjust as required to ensure that the reporting metrics are relevant to the project at each stage.

Hybrid or remote working.

**Requirements**:

- Experience dealing with multiple sub-contractors
- Experience with P6 Software
- Dealt with Multi-discipline programmes
- London Underground experience
- Comfortable with MSP Project
- Cost & Resource loaded schedule management
- Previous experience in Rail or Construction industry
- Ability to do presentation to Client/Senior Management
- Eager to learn & a quick learner
- Previous NEC contract experience desirable
- Good communication skills
