**Full Time for 35 hours per week**

**Fixed Term for 36 months from as soon as possible, with potential for a further 2 years
**The Opportunity**:
You will join the UKRI-funded research project, QUALREP: The Quality of Women’s Political Representation, to collaborate closely with the project team on research design, data collection and analysis; authoring project outputs; and supporting the dissemination, engagement and impact efforts. There is a possibility of extension for an additional 2 years.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- A PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant social science (for example, Politics, Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Science, Geography).
- Relevant doctoral or postdoctoral experience (or equivalent work experience) conducting quantitative **or **qualitative research to advanced level and both qualitative **and **quantitative research to basic level.
- Training in dissemination, engagement and impact
- Ability to author high quality academic publications to deadlines.
- Experience of disseminating research to non-academic audiences, including via social media Commitment to working collaboratively with civil society groups
