We have a new exciting opportunity for a Pastoral Assistant in a FE College enviorment.

Please see requirements:

- Experience working with Mental Health, or in a similar role.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

The role
- To work with the learner and the college staff to identify the appropriate intervention strategy needed to assist the learner to make appropriate progress.
- To maintain accurate, timely and updated entries of progress/intervention strategies on the student information database
- Work with and alongside the GCS Active leader, Student Support officers and all Support services in providing additional support as and when required, to support learner’s needs.
- Update the Learning Area Management team on a regular basis on retention, progress and wellbeing of learners in meetings and through weekly reports.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 10 weeks

**Salary**: £17,228.36-£34,703.95 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (preferred)

Work Location: In person
