Our client is a reputable family run building maintenance company. They are currently seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to join their team working across their properties in Norfolk and Suffolk.

As part of the role as maintenance surveyor your duties will involve taking responsibility for pre/post-inspection and reports for responsive repairs and void works across their geographical region. Effectively managing the performance and on site progress of contractors ensuring that works are delivered on time, to budget and quality standards.

**Duties within this role involve -**
- Ensuring the delivery of an effective & efficient repairs & maintenance service and void completions.
- Prepare and carry out surveys pre and post inspection in void and occupied social housing properties.
- Management and coordination of empty properties to ensure mínimal rental loss and maximum return. Carry out major void inspections, ensuring void works are completed to lettable standard.
- Overseeing contractors and tradespeople working on the properties and the works are carried out to good standard.

**Key skills required for this role include**
- Knowledge of the Social Housing sector and awareness of its regulations and Schedule of Rates.
- A demonstrable knowledge of building construction, building standards and health & safety.
- Knowledge of an effective professional surveying service for responsive repairs and voids to high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Effective liaison skills with staff, residents, service providers, contractors, and colleagues.

The position is offered with a company vehicle and fuel card.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

**Salary**: £34,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
