Commercial Claims Handler

We are currently working with a local broker that is part of a very successful insurance group who are now looking to add an ambitious Claims Handler to its Claims team, to work on commercial claims with a clear focus on Fleet claims.

You will handle a variety of claims including Motor Fleet, Motor Trade, CAR, Property and Liability. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality professional advice service to clients regarding any claims issues, liaising with insurers and other interested parties to expedite the claims process and effectively managing clients’ expectations. You will manage claims from receipt of notification of loss through to conclusion.
To be considered for this role, previous claims handling experience is essential, be that in a broker, insurer or loss adjusters. This must include general commercial claims experience, with Fleet claims experience being required as a minimum.
As such we are keen to speak to you if you have a minimum of 2 years plus commercial fleet claims handling experience, coupled with a genuine desire to absolutely rock at what you do, working for a company who rewards you for doing it They invest heavily in their staff with internal and external training and offer a grown-up working culture where you will be encouraged to self-manage
You must also possess excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively and be career driven
You will be rewarded with a very competitive starting salary of £30-40k, dependant on experience.
Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
