Appliance Delivery and Install Driver/warehouse

Small family run business looking for a team member to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing and delivery activities in two warehouses. Also delivery and installation of domestic appliances

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily vehicle safety checks
- Loading and unloading of the vehicle
- Driving/co-piloting
- Delivery and installation of household white goods appliances, and some tech products too.
- Good people interpersonal skills when dealing with customers in person and on the phone.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when receiving and dispatching of goods.
- Organising and maintaining inventory within the warehouse area
- Maintain and record stock levels, and document to minimise possible shortages
- Maintains inventory by conducting regular physical counts.
- Reporting any issues and daily activities to warehouse manager.
- High organisational skills and housekeeping standards

**Requirements**:

- The job also entails heavy lifting and manoeuvring of appliances, up and down stairs, therefore a good level of fitness is recommended.
- Prior installation knowledge is not a necessity as full training is provided; however past knowledge will benefit the applicant.
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong organisational and time management skill
- Full valid Driver’s License
- Forklift Operation Certification desirable
- First aid certificate desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
