We are actively recruiting an ambitious, driven, and caring Senior Care Assistant for our growing office. Right at Home South Cheshire delivers high-quality, trusted care and support to adults living in the comfort of their own home.
As a Senior CareGiver you will be expected to promote all Right at Home South Cheshire core values and beliefs in every aspect of your role, from working with our fantastic Clients to mentoring new Care Assistants. This is a full time role, working flexible hours but mainly consisting of 07:00-15:00 & 15:00-22:00 shifts.

**Duties will include but are not limited to**:
- Delivering the highest quality care and support to our amazing Clients
- Maintaining clear, timely records such as communication sheets, MAR Charts and care plans and alerting the Registered Manager to any issues that may cause concern
- Reporting to management on changes to care requirements and employee training needs
- Mentoring and supporting new Care Assistants during shadowing shifts
- Carrying out daily quality checks for care delivery, employee conduct and paperwork in the field such communication logs, MAR charts and care and support plans
- Working closely with the office team to maintain strong communication with the care delivery team
- Gathering and sharing best practice with peers and the wider team
- Taking an active part in monthly team meetings, sharing ideas and suggestions to improving our service
- Participating in the out of hours/on call rota
- Conducting Client and Care Assistant introductions as part of our ‘no stranger’ policy
- Carrying out competency checks on new care assistants and offering support where required
- Ensure a thorough knowledge, understanding and adherence to all company policies and procedures in line with CQC regulatory requirements
Right at Home South Cheshire covers the following areas:Crewe, Nantwich, Shavington, Wrenbury, Willaston and Wistaston.
**Requirements of a Senior CareGiver**:
- Minimum of two years ‘experience of working within a health and social care setting
- Hold a level 2 RQF or equivalent in Health and Social Care
- Experience of promoting wellbeing through a positive attitude and work ethic
- Ability to demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering excellent care
- Able to demonstrate good organisational and leadership skills
- Hold a full and valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
